Dr Haji ur Rahman Biography

Dr Haji ur Rahman is lecturer in the department of Sociology Hazara University Mansehra since 2012. He belongs to the historic Peshawar valley. Dr. Rahman has completed his early education from the prestigious Islamia college Peshawar. Later on he pursued his Master,s degree in the discipline of Sociology from University of Peshawar in 2009. Dr. Rahman joined Hazara University as a permanent lecturer in 2012. in 2015 he got the Chinese government scholarship to pursue his doctorate from the Central China Normal University Wuhan, China. In 2018 Dr. Rahman returned to his home country and joined back Hazara university after completion of his PH.D. He has supervised a number of MPhil and Bachelors level students during this period. Besides teaching sociology, Dr. Rahman has also served as the Academic Coordinator as well as CMS (campus management system) coordinator for three long years. His areas of interest in sociology include gender, globalization, culture, environmental sociology and population studies.
